Designed to give an overview of fibromyalgia including diagnosis, symptoms, treatment, and medications used to relieve symptoms.

Learning Objectives

After completing this activity, pharmacists should be able to:

  1. describe what fibromyalgia is;
  2. discuss how fibromyalgia may be diagnosed;
  3. list the symptoms of fibromyalgia;
  4. discuss how fibromyalgia may be treated;
  5. educate patients about their fibromyalgia;
  6. counsel patients about the medications used to relieve symptoms of fibromyalgia.
