Designed to give an overview of pet allergies including how they arise, pharmacological and non-pharmacological management, and prevention advice.

Learning Objectives

After completing this activity, pharmacists should be able to:

  1. outline how allergies to pets arise;
  2. describe the pharmacological and non-pharmacological management of pet allergy;
  3. advise patients how to prevent allergies to pets from occurring.
