Meet our Board Members
Trent is the College's National President, he and his wife are community pharmacists' and own and run pharmacies in far north Queensland. He has Bachelor of Business and is a Fellow of the both Australian Institute of Management and The College. He is a National Councillor of the Pharmacy Guild of Australia and a Past President of the National Australian Pharmacy Students' Association. He has spoken at The Guild's APP conference, the PSA's PAC and at the PSPNG's national conference. As a compounding pharmacist he is interested in emerging areas of speciality practice. As the head of the College Trent is committed to lifelong learning and is dedicated to helping pharmacists' in clinical and management settings remain at the cutting edge of primary healthcare.
Trevor has held general management roles with major international pharmaceutical companies as well as a general management role with a pharmaceutical wholesaler. He is the General Manager of Gold Cross Products and Services Pty Ltd. A Fellow of both the Australian Institute of Management and The Australian Institute of Company Directors and a Fellow Honoris Causa of the College.
Director of Finance and Audit
Peter is Director of Pharmacy Services and Executive Director at Guild Accountants Pty Limited. Peter is a Fellow and a Director of the Australian College of Pharmacy. He is also a member of the NSW Chapter committee of the College and received the 2008 NSW Chapter Chairman's Award for his contribution. Peter is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and the Taxation Institute of Australia. Peter was part of the PBS Reforms Road Show in 2008, writes regularly in the pharmacy press, including as a columnist for Retail Pharmacy and is a regular speaker for the College and the Guild on pharmacy management issues. Peter is a father of 5, was a long time football player (round ball variety) and now enjoys sailing, with a preference to staying above the water.
Mike is a UQ pharmacy graduate and holds Graduate Diplomas in clinical pharmacy and management. He is a Fellow of ACP and Senior Associate of the Financial Services Institute of Australia. Mike attended his first college conference (then AIPM) in 1988 and ever since has been a strong advocate for the college and the role it can play in making life easier for pharmacists. He is currently a senior vice-president of the PGA Qld branch, chairman of the board of Innovation RX (Project Stop). He is a past PGA National Councillor and is still involved in various national committees including QCPP and NPS e-Health and Decision Support. His interests include applied finance & economics, and IT solutions for pharmacists.
Xavier is the President of NAPSA (The National Australian Pharmacy Students' Association) and represents the interests of approximately 3500 members whom are undergraduate and masters students studying at seventeen universities across Australia as well as its interns.
