Clinical kNowledge in a Nutshell

kNowledge in a Nutshell (NiN) is a new series in our CPD Ready?... Easy™ offering. The series is based on knowledge and skills in both the Clinical and Business areas and can be completed by either pharmacists or pharmacy assistants.

For pharmacists, ALL units are mapped to the National Competency Standards Framework for Pharmacists (2010) and to the relevant competencies in the Nationally Recognised Training framework. The latter means that units will address elements in the College's Diploma, Cert III and Cert IV offerings.

For Pharmacy Assistants and other non-pharmacist members the units are mapped to the relevant competencies in the Nationally Recognised Training framework. The latter means that units will address elements in the College's Diploma, Cert III and Cert IV offerings.

Remember our design aim....Learn it today. Use it tomorrow.

CPD  Group 1

Read about new drugs on the market and new uses for existing drugs. If you do not wish to complete the assessment you will need to record this under self study section as a Group 1 activity.

CPD Group 2

Each unit has multiple choice questions available for group 2 CPD credits.

Time Outs

A time-out is a time limit for online material, also known as a session expiry. This may happen if you leave the assessment page open and inactive over 30mins while reading the article.

If you have a time-out, or any error which you would like corrected, do not hesitate to contact us with your answers so we can clarify and amend your record.

Please note that if you do not pass a quiz you may self-record group one credits onto your record for reading/watching the activity.

College members can read and submit their answers for each clinical update using the links below:
