Authors: Dr Treasure McGuire & Dr Brett MacFarlane

What impacts do nutrition and nutrient level have on pregnancy outcomes?

Nutrition is increasingly being recognised as playing a key role in health outcomes, particularly when pregnant or breastfeeding.

The College has partnered with Bayer Australia and ITK magazine to develop a comprehensive CPD module for pharmacists on the key consequences of nutrition and nutrient levels on pregnancy outcomes.

The module covers the changes in nutrient intake necessary to provide a healthy pregnancy and baby, and the evidence base for recommendation of nutrient supplementation in pregnancy.

Enrolment in the module is open to ALL pharmacists, so tell your friends they can join the College for free access to this and other complimentary modules.
