Overview 

Designed to give an overview of medicines that can induce peptic ulcer disease and oesophagitis, and preventative therapy for peptic ulcer disease.

Learning Objectives

After completing this activity, pharmacists should be able to:

  1. describe the term dyspepsia;
  2. identify medicines that can induce peptic ulcer disease;
  3. recommend preventative therapy for peptic ulcer disease;
  4. recognise medicines that can induce oesophagitis.
