Overview 

Designed to give an overview of eating disorders including the differences between types of eating disorders, treatments utilised, and management.

Learning Objectives

After completing this activity, pharmacists should be able to:

  1. identify what is meant by eating disorders;
  2. describe the differences between the eight eating disorders listed by DSM-5;
  3. describe some of the treatments utilised in eating disorders;
  4. discuss with patients and families about the management of their condition.
