Designed to give an overview of colorectal cancer including symptoms, treatments and their side effects, and screening.

Learning Objectives

After completing this activity, pharmacists should be able to:

  1. Recognise common symptoms associated with colorectal cancer
  2. Describe treatments offered to patients with colorectal cancer
  3. State the bowel cancer screening process for average risk individuals in Australia
  4. Identify prominent side effects associated with chemotherapy and monoclonal antibodies used to treat colorectal cancer
