Overview 

Designed to give an overview of the the identification and treatment vaginal thrush, along with the management of vaginal dryness and care of the external female anatomy

Learning Objectives

After completing this activity, pharmacists should be able to:

  1. Describe vaginal thrush and its causes
  2. Discuss the difference between symptoms of thrush and other infections
  3. Discuss the intravaginal and oral treatment of vaginal thrush
  4. Describe the adverse outcomes and drug interactions associated with treatments for thrush
  5. Describe the management of vaginal dryness and care of the external female anatomy
