- List the signs and symptoms of bacterial and viral conditions associated with sore throat
- Discuss pharmacological treatments for sore throat – both systemic and topical
- Describe the non-pharmacological management of sore throats, including vitamins, minerals and complementary medications, and the scientific evidence supporting their use
- Describe counselling points that pharmacists can discuss with patients presenting with sore throats
