Designed to give an overview of PID and other infections that may occur in the female reproductive tract, including bacterial pathogens, vaginal thrush, and sexually transmitted diseases.

Learning Objectives

After completing this activity, pharmacists should be able to:

  1. Describe symptoms presented by women for various vaginal or other reproductive tract infections
  2. Outline treatment options for vaginal or other reproductive tract infections
  3. Identify appropriate advice to provide to patients, regarding use of antibiotics and antifungals, prevention of infection, and safe sex.
