Designed to give an overview of causes, symptoms and implications of nausea and vomiting in pregnancy, and the evidence supporting its pharmacological treatment and prevention of nausea and vomiting.

Learning Objectives

After completing this activity, pharmacists should be able to:

  1. Describe the causes, symptoms and implications of nausea and vomiting in pregnancy (NVP)
  2. Describe the evidence supporting the pharmacological treatment of NVP
  3. Describe the evidence supporting the prevention of NVP
