This activity provides pharmacists with an overview of the different types of burns, and how to treat and manage them in the pharmacy.

Learning Objectives

After completing this activity, pharmacists should be able to:

  1. describe the different classifications of burns;
  2. explain the correct treatment of burns;
  3. identify burn patients who require a referral to a doctor.
