Designed to give an overview of the role, evidence, efficacy and safety of dietary supplements in the management of diabetes.

Learning Objectives

After completing this activity, pharmacists should be able to:

  1. Discuss the role of dietary supplements in the management of diabetes.
  2. Discuss evidence available surrounding the use of vitamins and supplements in the management of diabetes
  3. Discuss the efficacy and safety of dietary supplements used in the management of diabetes.
