  1. To provide an overview of the types of inhaler devices currently available for the management of airways disease
  2. To identify the common errors encountered with the use of inhaler devices
  3. To describe the role of the pharmacist in optimising the use of inhaler devices, within the broader context of the Asthma Action Plan
